'The finest garden' in the Garden City of Alaska is privately owned and totally organic garden located on the historic Clark farm site. Gardening played a huge role in Skagway's history. Annual gardening contests continue today as it did 100 years ago when the town was founded. Jewell Gardens has expanded, doubling it's original size, adding a greenhouse and a production area. You will be amazed at the variety of plants we grow this far north. Enjoy our guided tour taking photos of super-sized vegetables and flowers.
